My name is Jennifer Bruno and I am an emerging artist. I have lived in Southwick, Ma all my life and currently live here with my husband and two teenage sons. I've always loved art and have been recently becoming involved with in the art community. Last April I participated in my first juried fine art show hosted by the Southwick Cultural Council and it was quite a success! I will be exhibiting my art work in Northampton, MA, in a new gallery that will be opening the first weekend in June all summer. I will be posting new artwork weekly and upcoming events with details about the new gallery in Northampton, MA. on my web site. Please feel free email me if you have any questions or would like to inquire about any of the paintings I display.
John Walker has spent more than forty years in the professional practice of landscape architecture, including the last thirst years as a sole practitioner with his office in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Since retiring in 2000, he has devoted much of his free time experiencing and learning the rewards and frustrations of the medium of watercolor.
He has taken a series of watercolor classes offered by West Hartford Art League, as well as with the award-winning painter, John Rossini. This process has marked his attempt to transition from forty years of using graphite, ink and magic markers for presenting his thoughts, ideas, and graphic images, to the more difficult but very rewarding fine art of watercolor painting.
His paintings have been juried into the annual watercolor shows of the Connecticut Watercolor Society as well as other juried shows in western Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society and the Avon Art Association.
Painting in a representational style, he seeks to develop graphic presentations of his observation of and deep appreciation for the typical New England landscape, all strongly influences by his many years of practice as a landscape architect.
